Moving...again!

Emilie and Golden found another apartment and were able to move into it Saturday! It is a very cute little place and most of all ...it is bug free! Yes, you read right, we didn't even see a spider, ant, box elder bug, and most importantly, no cockroaches! For those of you that missed the first move, a quick synopsis: They found an apartment in an old house that was made into six apartments. It was cute and in a good location. They began moving in after the landlord said they had sprayed for "bugs". (We all assumed spiders and the like.) Jimmy noticed a cockroach on the wall as they were moving stuff in and said, "I know what they were spraying for!" To make a long story short, as we were moving in more boxes that evening, we noticed a few more. We left to get another load and turned out all the lights. When we came back and switched on the light, it was to hundreds of the creepy little things! We immediately "unmoved" them and took everything back to Dad's. They went and talked to the landlord and with some blessings, were granted their check back and got the contract ripped up. The hunt began again. This time they went to the apartment at night before signing anything.

Their new apartment is not far from where Staci and Isaac lived for awhile. It is in the same Ward in fact. It is close to a park, a grocery store and not an unreasonable walk to the Library either. It will be great for them to be out on their own. Cloe loves her new house and gets so excited whenever she is home.

Even though most of our extended family has

attended the University of Utah at one time

or another, and we currently have a cousin who is

redshirting this year for the Utes basketball team

(we do cheer for Josh, only Josh though :) ),

our family has been

Brigham Young University fans through and through.

We say we are definitely true BLUE Cougars!

(and now apparently, quite literally).

Christmas morning!

Santa brought Lilly this darling polka-dot tea set.

Lilly immediately served Uncle Jimmy.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas eve, the girls could open two presents,

the one with new jammies of course, and

the one from Grandma GiGi,

so it could be on the tree for Santa to see.

Lilly was so excited she was big enough to bring in Santa's milk.

Madi is so proud of the cute cookies they made!

The girls are positive their cookies are going to

be Santa's favorite in the whole world!
