Cookies for Santa

Lilly working hard on her cookie.

What a cute snowman cookie!

Lilly put LOTS of candy on hers!

"Santa likes lots of candy."

Jimmy is making his cookie,
Papa too,
Even the Elders joined in the fun.
Although theirs weren't cute little snowman cookies...

And what were our cute little girls doing while everyone else was making their cookies?

Why EATING them of course!

The Elders decided the girls had a good idea.

(But then they are teenage boys after all, isn't eating ALWAYS a good idea?)

Shopping, something like that anyway....

Since we were at the mall for Santa, we decided to stop in

and see what Staci could find.

She found a pretty black dress and a pant suit.

Jimmy ended up with some shoes too. While they were trying on and deciding,

dad and I watched the girls. They were so BORED!!!

But they managed to figure out one or two things to keep occupied.

Madi keeping Papa awake!

She found a hat that she had fun playing with.

Finally all the shopping was finished and it was time to go home!

Hurry Mommy! We are BORED!

This was one of the things the girls found to do. When all else fails, find a friend and run!

We saw Santa!

Madi enjoyed looking at all the cute

decorations around Santa.

Lilly wouldn't sit on his lap, but she did talk to him.

This is the closest Madi would go

and she wasn't about to smile.

They enjoyed seeing him though!

Madi wanted to play dress up,

but first she helped Uncle Jimmy get ready.
Didn't she do a great job?
Then it was her turn, Mommy helped.
How cute is that?
What a pretty miss!

Waking Jimmy!

(Whispering) Jimmy, Jimmy, are you awake?
Lilly shakes him softly.

Still trying to be nice, she sits next to him and tells him

all the fun reasons he should wake up.

Come on Jimmy! (She is trying a little harder.)

Jimmy, is still sleeping "innocently" on...

Now Lilly is getting serious. Hey Jimmy! Wake up!

Now Madi comes to help.

Maybe if we pull his arm he will wake up.

Or maybe his foot.

Nothing is working... off go the blankets!

Out the door they go! (Is that Papa helping?)
Madi is very serious now!
Oh oh! He woke up! Now what do I do?
He's got me Papa! HELP!
Here comes Madi to the rescue!

Lilly and Madi loved waking Uncle Jimmy.,

and he was a great sport about it.

Sometimes he even got a little revenge!
